The Boston Bruins are on the brink of elimination and in must-win territory against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. After losing the first two games in Raleigh, the Bruins won the next two at home to tie the series, only to lose once again on the road in game five.

The good news is that the Bruins are back on home ice at TD Garden in Boston, where they are so far perfect in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs. According to Thursday morning practise lines, it appears that head coach Bruce Cassidy may be switching things up a bit for game six.

As reported by Conor Ryan of The Boston Sports Journal on Twitter (@ConorRyan_93):

Based on lines at the Boston Bruins' morning skate, it looks like Bruce Cassidy is splitting up "The Perfection Line" of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Pastrnak.

Trent Frederic, who has 14 penalty minutes in just over 17 minutes of ice-time in the series, is back in the lineup for tonight. He hasn't dressed since game two of the series. It also appears that Matthew Grzelcyk will be the odd man out on defence, as the Bruins expect Hampus Lindholm to make his return after missing games three, four and five.

And the powerplay as reported by Fluto Shinzawa, Boston Bruins beat writer for The Athletic (@FlutoShinzawa):

It looks like Jake Debrusk will be getting another look on the top powerplay unit, with Taylor Hall dropping down to the second. Remember, these are just potential lineups as it is what the team was skating with at morning practice.

We will keep you updated closer to puck drop tonight!
