On Wednesday night, the Acadie-Bathurst Titans defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 4-3 in triple-overtime to tie the best-of-five series at 2-2 in the QMJHL playoffs.
Titans' centreman Thomas Belgarde decided to celebrate the win with a gift from a fan:
Belgarde grabbed a beer from the fan and proceeded to chug it before walking back to the locker room. Most junior players may not be legal drinking age, but Belgrade, the 20-year-old, is in Canada. Although, I feel like Belgarde is going to get flack from some fans and maybe hear from the league about it.
After a big win, it's sometimes nice to just celebrate with a cold beer! Especially after a marathon six-period game. You have to stay hydrated!
