PREVIEW: Lineup for season opener as Bruins travel to take on the Washington Capitals

The wait is finally over! Boston Bruins hockey is back as the team travels to D.C to take on the Washington Capitals for the 2022-23 season opener.

This will be the fourth time in the two franchises' history that they will meet each other on opening night. The Capitals and Bruins met three times last season, as Boston went 2-1-0 with a 7-3 and 4-3 win. Their last meeting was on April 10th, 2022, when Washington came away with a 4-2 win.

Projected lines for game one of the season:

Zacha - Krejci - Pastrnak
Greer - Coyle - Smith
Foligno - Nosek - Lauko

Lindholm - Carlo
