After the Boston Bruins disappointing playoff loss the team stated that they were going to make a serious last push with the current core group.

General manager Don Sweeney backed that up and made some serious moves this offseason which included signing Taylor Hall to an extension and adding Nick Foligno, Erik Huala and Tomas Nosek up front during free agency.

Sweeney also added DerekForbort on defense while extending Mike Rielly.

However Sweeney might not be done adding on the blueline.

Bruins' insider Jimmy Murphy reports that the Bruins are trying to figure out a way to acquire PK Subban from the New Jersey Devils.

The move would require some salary cap retention by the Devils and the Bruins sending some salary the other way.

Subban would be a nice depth addition on the right side and would help the B's power play.

Murphy adds that the TorontoMaple Leafs have also been trying to figure out a way to get a Subban deal done.

Would you like to see Subban in a Bruins' uniform?
