BREAKING Flyers Sign Forward Derick Brassard.

The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a free agent signing on Wednesday.
Fletcher has signed veteran forward Derick Brassard to a one year contract which carries an AAV of $825k.
The 2006 1st round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets spent last season in Arizona where he registered 20 points in 53 games.
It'll be a reunion with head coach Alain Vigneault for the 33 year old who played with Vigneault's Stanley Cup Finalist New York Rangers back in 2014. He registered 12 points in 23 games during the run which included two game winning goals.
In 905 games, Brassard has registered 194 goals and 309 assists for 503 total points and 419 penalty minutes during his NHL career. He's also added 68 points in 117 playoff games.�More details to come.
