The Boston Bruins selected Frederic Brunet with the fifth-round (132nd overall) pick at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Brunet was born on August 21st, 2003, in Gatineau, Quebec. The 6'2'', 185 lb defenseman spent last season with the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL and collected 12 goals and 34 assists in 63 games played.
Check out Brunet's scouting report:
'' He makes a solid outlet pass and can move the pace up ice. This could be a solid late pick-up for the Bruins. He deals with pressure well and won't force a play if it's not there. That's good for a young kid to have already.''
