San Jose Sharks head coach David Quinn is walking around a little lighter today after the NHL fined him $25,000 for his recent incident with on-ice officials.
Per NHL Public Relations:
San Jose Sharks' coach David Quinn has been fined $25,000 for conduct demeaning the officials that resulted in a game misconduct during NHL Game No. 993 on Saturday, Mar. 4, the National Hockey League announced today.
The fine money goes to the NHL Foundation.
Quinn was ejected from Saturday's game against the Washington Capitals, after sharing some choice words for the officials for a penalty on forward Kevin Labanc.
Quinn became the first head coach tossed from a game since Jon Cooper was given a game misconduct in April 2022.
