The Boston Bruins have yet again suffered an injury to a key player.
Defenseman Derek Forbort left the game tonight in the first period and didn't return, and now goaltender Jeremy Swayman.
As per Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now:
''Jeremy Swayman can't put any weight on his left leg after Patrice Bergeron crashes into him. He heads right to the room. Looks like his left leg hit the post and bent inward after the collision. He was down immediately & Bergeron was waving for the trainers.''
This does not look good for the B's goaltender, as this has the possibility of being a significant injury.
