The Best Bruins Jersey of All-Time

While the primary logo hasn't explicitly changed, some of the Bruins alternates and Winter Classic jerseys, have been hits and misses. So today let's rank the best Bruins jerseys of all time.

The spoked-B came into existence way back in the 1948-49 season and has been a mainstay ever since. Over the years, several small but distinct changes have been made to the jersey.

10. 1948-49 Boston introduced the spoked-B for the first time as part of the team's 25th anniversary. The jersey featured gold shoulders with black and gold stripes on the arms and at the waist. The 2010 Winter Classic paid tribute to these jerseys.

9. 1995-2006 After having the same jersey from 1981-95, the Bruins introduced their new jersey to go along with the opening of their new arena, the "FleetCenter," now known as the TD Garden. The new jerseys saw the shoulders capped with gold and black trim, getting away from the classic jersey only featuring stripes on the arms and at the waist.

8. Boston's 2019 Winter Classic jersey replicated a jersey worn in the 1930's. The jersey features a bold ''B'' emblem and old yellow and brown colours.

7. 1996-2006 ''Pooh Bear'': A bright yellow jersey featuring a bear's head as the logo. These jerseys were the Bruins' first official alternate jersey during a time when black and whites were so popular. The bright yellow was hard on the eyes. The bear also looked so quite tame compared to the Big Bad Bruins image.

6. 2021 Reverse Retro: A gold version of the classic 1981-95 jerseys. Solid colouring on the shoulders and black numbering. These jerseys were looking great last season.

5.2016 Winter Classic: The Bruins replaced the spoked B with a logo used in the early days. A sharp-looking black jersey with yellow striping.

4.1969-74 The jerseys of the glory days featuring Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, and Gerry Cheevers. These jerseys had yellow shoulder capping and laces on the neck.

3. 2019 Alternate This black jersey with a large yellow B looks incredible. In addition, yellow and white stripes on the arms give the Bruins their nicest-looking alternate jersey.

2. 2019-present The Adidas edition of the spoked-B looks crisp. The jersey features black, gold and white striping with gold shoulders.

1. 1981-1995 The bear logo shoulder patch caps these iconic jerseys. The spoked-B pops with the shoulders carrying a solid white or black colour, depending on the home or away jersey.
