Goaltending is easily the most random position in hockey, where one season can be stellar and the next average or even a downright disappointment. A goalie is the most critical position in the NHL and the only position that can quite literally change how good or bad a team is.

A consistent goaltender is the most valuable player to have, and No Pucks Given on Instagram has ranked the top-25 heading into next season.

Both Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark of the Boston Bruins make the list of top-25 goaltenders in the NHL. The Bruins and the New York Islanders are the only two teams that have two goalies on the list.
