Bruins forward Trent Frederic finished off a perfect pass from Taylor Hall, absolutely ripping it by Colorado Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz.
The goal was Frederic's second marker of the night and put the Bruins up 4-1 late in the third period. Frederic now has five goals on the season.
Jake Debrusk scored just ten seconds later as the Bruins went on to route the defending champions 5-1.
Boston is now a perfect 14-0 on home ice this season and face their former head coach Bruce Cassidy as Vegas comes to town next.
