The Boston Bruins top players are not only the best on their team but also in the entire NHL.
In a recent report by @datadrivenhockey on Instagram shows which players across the league were the most reliable to their team.
Ranked as number one and two are Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins. Basically stating that the duo is the best in the NHL at producing offense and scoring chances at very high rate, while also stopping their opponents from doing so against them.
It makes perfect sense as Bergeron, who is now a five-time Selke Trophy winner, just came off his most dominant two-way season of his career at the age of 36.
Marchand is no slouch in the defensive zone either, as he currently leads all active players with 33 career shorthanded goals. He sits in 14th place in NHL history in that department with the next closest active player being Andrew Cogliano in 69th with 21 goals
