It's old news that the Edmonton Oilers news a goaltender.
Connor McDavid and Co. did well this season, making it all the way to the Western Conference Final with a 41-year-old Mike Smith in net.
Now just imagine what they could do with a younger and proven goaltender?
Unfortunately, two goalies that are available this summer don't want anything to do with the Oilers.
Both Marc-Andre Fleury and John Gibson have reportedly stated that they're unwilling to make the move to Edmonton, as per Mark Spector of Sportsnet.
Tough break for the Oilers!
