Up-close look at Jeremy Swayman's new mask for this season (VIDEO)

Hockey goaltenders aren't only the weirdest ones on the team; they might be the most unique as well!
From the way they can bend and move their body to make acrobatic saves to the way they can flip a switch and not stop a thing, most times rather than not, they make the game more interesting.
Most of them, if not all, show up every season with a fresh new paint job on their masks, and most of them are excellent. Goalies get to tell their stories on their masks, and every year, we see some unique ones, including Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman.
Swayman had a new mask painted for the 2022-23 season by famous Swedish goalie mask painter David Gunnarsson, who describes Sway's mask as:
'' It is created as a true storyteller mask, every little inch of the mask is a part of the story, and it is totally loaded with details The design is a continuation inspired by the previous masks we have created together.''

Gunnarsson, or DaveArt as he goes by, also shared an up and close video of the mask, showing all the little details that went into it. It will be exciting to see Jeremy himself describe the mask, hopefully sometime soon:
