USA opens up Woman's World Championships with dominating fashion

With the 2022 World Junior Championship ending for the Men's U.S. hockey team, the Women's Team began their tournament on Thursday.
The Women's World Championship started today in Denmark, as U.S. opened up against Japan.
Team USA won in convincing fashion, 10-0, with goals from nine different players.
It was Kelly Pannek who found the back of the net first, putting the U.S. up 1-0 just over six minutes into the first period.
The team's newest players had an especially impressive showing. Competing in her first ever game for the national team, Taylor Heise recorded five assists and was named player of the game for the U.S.
Caroline Harvey scored the goal of the game, admitting after that she had practiced that move.
