The Bruins, who are already without Taylor Hall for the remainder of the road trip, lost Brad Marchand under 30 seconds into tonight's game in Edmonton.
After rounding the net, Marchand collided with Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse, whose skate appears to catch him in the ankle. Marchand immediately rushed off the ice and to the locker room.
The Sportsnet broadcast shared that both teams' medical staffs also rushed to the wingers aid.
UPDATE:
Shinzawa also shared that Marchand was in fact cut and needed stitches to repair.
