Two Boston Bruins who made returns yesterday afternoon at home against the New York Rangers did not travel with the team today to Montreal.

David Pastrnak and Hampus Lindholm, who missed eight and seven games respectively, returned for Saturday's game against the Rangers. Both made immediate impacts as Pastrnak finished the game with one goal and one assist while collecting his 500th career NHL point. Lindholm was solid defensively while also leading all Bruins' defensemen in time on ice with 24:41.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy announced Sunday morning that Lindholm and Pastrnak would not be in the lineup tonight.

Cassidy also discussed what a game one playoff lineup would look like, barring any injuries, and the reason why those two are out of the lineup after playing yesterday:

"When we're healthy, we like the four lines we played yesterday, so knock on wood, everyone's available game one. It's good to see Pasta get through the game, and he's not at home today because he's injured; he's at home because that's how they determined him and Lindholm would only play one of the back-to-backs so he's feeling good. So that's encouraging, and on the backend, we have a decision to make on the final pair [for the playoffs]."

Cassidy made it clear that Pastrnak and Lindholm weren't travelling today to face the Canadiens no matter what. He also stated that Linus Ullmark is with the team in Montreal but will be backing up Jeremy Swayman.
