The first-rounder has been enjoying a breakout season with the WHL's Vancouver Giants.

Ever since he was taken with the 21st overall pick of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Boston Bruins prospect Fabian Lysell has done nothing but improve.

Despite playing in only 47 of his team's 62 regular season games this season, the 19-year-old Swede still leads the Giants in all major stats categories with 21 goals, 33 assists and 54 points.

Lysell has shown time and time again that he has tremendous skill, but it's his defensive play that has most scouts in awe. Lysell sits second on the Giants with a +15 differential this season and has shown a willingness to get involved in all three zones.

His Vancouver coaches have been using him in all game situations, and on both the power play and penalty kill units. Lysell showed once again last night why the coaching staff should continue using him as such.

Lysell's play was electric from start to finish. He first chipped the puck by the defender, lifted his stick to take it back, beat his other opponents with speed and finished off the play with a perfect top corner snipe.

Fabian Lysell is a one-man show!
