VIDEO: Camera crew catches cool moment between Bruins' player and sister

Charlie McAvoy of the Boston Bruins hails from Long Beach, New York. He was drafted in the first round (14th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, and he's been a staple on the Bruins' backend since his debut in the 2017-18 NHL season.

McAvoy grew up a Rangers fan and has stated that he emulated his game after Rangers legend Brian Leetch.

McAvoy's sister, Kayla, has been interning with the New York Rangers for the 2021-22 NHL season in the strength and conditioning department. The general manager of the Rangers, Chris Drury, has allowed Kayla to travel with the team to the two games in Boston to get to see her younger brother Charlie.
