VIDEO: Cassidy hints at who may be the Bruins' starting goalie for playoffs
After Wednesday morning's practice, Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy addressed the media to discuss his plan with the two goaltenders, Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman.
Cassidy commented on the growth of Ullmark's game since the start of the season:
"There's always three or four of those moments [timely saves], and I think he's been on the right side of them a lot more than maybe the start of the year. That builds confidence in your group; let's face it, any team that gets timely saves from their goaltender will always build confidence ... that to me is one of the biggest differences."
Cassidy also mentioned that Ullmark will start Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres, and Swayman will start Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He added that they will know more after that, but hinted that Linus Ullmark may be the go-to guy by mentioning his better play and numbers lately.
