All 32 teams nominate one player, as voted by his teammates, to have a chance to win the award. This season the Boston Bruins nomination is Jake DeBrusk.
It's been a whirlwind of a season for the Edmonton, Alberta native, who openly requested a trade back in November but promised to play the best he could while he was still a Bruin. Nobody expected him to still be with the team by this point, but he is, and he has even worked his way up to the first line with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron, and he has been one of Boston's best players for the last month or so.
