New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba has had his fair share of massive, yet borderline hits in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
First, he knocked Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby out for one game with an elbow to the head in the first round.
Then, he caught Carolina Hurricanes rookie Seth Jarvis with a massive open-ice hit in game seven of the last series, which left him crawling on the ice to find the bench and was later diagnosed with a concussion.
Ondrej Palat was his latest victim. Well, almost.
