Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron was made available to the media after the team's last practice before leaving for Raleigh.

The Bruins will open up their first-round matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes tomorrow evening on the road.

Bergeron discussed the added improvement he has seen in Jake Debrusk's game and the importance of their line's offensive threat and chemistry, along with Brad Marchand too:

"We're used to JD [Debrusk] in that position; we've talked a lot with him and as line, as a unit of three. We've made sure we've talked about what we want to accomplish and what we want to be as a line and how we can be successful, and what things we need to avoid to not get into trouble. I think it's all those things put together that we're really focused on."

He also discussed the extra focus on the line-matching that happens during playoff games and how important the Bruins' depth will be, and on how tough of a team the Hurricanes are to play against.
