The Reading Royals are usually affiliated to black and purple team colors, but tonight's it's all about green.
The Philadelphia Flyers minor league affiliate is playing it's first home game since St. Patrick's Day and decided to go all out for tonight's celebration.
The Reading Royals are going to play on an ice surface that has been fully covered in green paint for their game against the Adirondack Thunder!
The Reading Royals have to feel good about themselves as they prepare for such a fun night in front of their home crowd. The team currently sits second overall in the ECHL standings and has not lost a game in regulation in its past 12 outings.
You have to give it to the club though, they sure know how to celebrate St. Patty's Day! The franchise even goes as far as decking out the team mascot with some celtic green gear for the event!
