Not only was Zdeno Chara one of the best to play the game - and for a long time - but he could also hold his own against any player during a fight.
Except for maybe the first time that he dropped the gloves as he recently shared while appearing on the Spittin Chiclets Podcast with Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette. Check out the video below for Big Zee's hilarious fighting story:
Over his 24-year career, the 6-foot-9 defender dropped the gloves for a total of 76 times, and it's safe to say he didn't lose many of them!
