Don Sweeny to make a massive move and sign top free agent
Free Agency continues into another week as we're halfway through July and many names remain in free agency:
With the exception of Ryan Suter, who recently signed with the St. Louis Blues, do you think Don Sweeney could find a great forward for cheap?
I see two-forwards who the Boston Bruins could afford to bring in for depth and for scoring touch.
One of which could be Daniel Sprong, who is a reliable goal-scorer who put up 18 goals and 43 points with the Detroit Red Wings.
Sprong is one of the most reliable scorers in the league, as the past two seasons have put up 46 points and 43 points respectively in Seattle and Detroit.
Sprong's last deal was a one-year, $2 Million AAV deal in Detroit and we imagine he could fetch the same value in Boston, while still providing an extra 40 points missing in the lineup, with DeBrusk's absence.
