Adam Gretz from Bleacher Report has proposed a trade that would send Jonathan Huberdeau to the St. Louis Blues.
Heading back to the Calgary Flames would St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko.
Both Huberdeau and Parayko are locked into long-term deals that run through the 2027-28 season, making this trade make sense for both organizations.
Jonathan Huberdeau hasn't been the same since being traded from the Florida Panthers, and carries a $10.5 million. Maybe a fresh start with a team that is towards the end of a small rebuild would do Huberdeau good.
On the other hand, the Flames have gotten rid of a couple of key defenseman during their rebuild, and acquiring Parayko could help some of the problems they currently have on the blueline.
Do you think the Blues and Flames will make this trade?
