The Boston Bruins are set to acquire their next Milan Lucic via trade
The Boston Bruins could afford to add more toughness to the lineup, as the Buffalo Sabres have a few, interesting trade candidates.
One of them is power-forward Jordan Greenway, who could thrive playing under Jim Montgomery's system.
Greenway has only a year left on his contract, and an 8-team no-trade clause and could ultimately be a rental option, or if Sweeney is skillful enough, sign him to an extension.
Last season in 67 games with the Sabres, he scored 28 points(10 G, 18 A) and could be a proven 3rd line option for the Bruins.
Not only is he a depth option, but he can move up and down the lineup as needed.
Greenway still has potential upside and could be a bargain option for Don Sweeney.
Greenway's current AAV is $3 Million per season, and his contract runs through 2025-2026.
