26-Year-Old Professional Hockey Player Tragically Passed Away
The hockey community was hit with some tragic news after it was announced that a 26-year-old German National star player has tragically passed away.
It was announced, and confirmed that 26-year-old German star Tobias Eder has tragically passed away.
It was also sadly confirmed that the cause of his death was cancer. Unfortunately Eder was not able to beat his fight with cancer.
We regret to inform you that Tobias Eder, forward for Eisbären Berlin in the top-flight German league, and member of Germany's national team, has passed away at the age of 26 after his fight with cancer.
Over the course of his career, Eder had 68 goals, 129 points through 263 games played in the DEL - and 5 goals, 9 points through 27 games played with Germany's national team.
He will be dearly missed.
Last year, Eder had an impressive 22 goals, 9 assist for 31 points in 52 games played with the Eisbären Berlin.

The DEB mourns the loss of Tobias Eder. The national player and striker for the Eisbären Berlin died at the age of 26 after a serious illness. We are stunned and shocked, we are at a loss for words. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
