A rumour involving a former Boston Bruin, Torey Krug has been confirmed by an NHL insider.
Frank Seravalli has confirmed that the St. Louis Blues will be exploring options for their defensemen Torey Krug this off-season stating they will be placing him on the trade block this summer.
Torey Krug was rumoured to be involved in a trade that would've sent him to the Philadelphia Flyers last season but ultimately blocked it using his NTC, well it seems his time with the Blues will be coming to an end this off-season.
There were even some rumours the Bruins might be interested in bringing Krug back, will be interesting to see if Don Sweeney makes a pitch for him.
St. Louis is trying to go through a small rebuild and Torey Krug's time has come to an end with the team. It might be hard to trade him as his production has taken a hit over the last couple of seasons.
Last year Krug had 39 points in 77 games and is currently making $6.5 million for the next 3 seasons.
