Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand have officially broken the record for most times factoring into the same goal in Bruins franchise history. The title was previously held by Bruins legends Phil Esposito and Ken Hodge.
What this means, is that Bergeron and Marchand have both gotten points on the same goal 407 times. The dynamic duo is seemingly unstoppable right now, and with the added confidence that breaking this record will give them, who knows what else they might accomplish before the end of the season.
The Bruins currently sit atop the league with 107 points, and are the first and only team to clinch a playoff berth at this point. If the playoffs started today, they'd be facing the New York Islanders in the first round, which shouldn't be much of a problem for this powerhouse.
Congrats to Patrice and Brad!
