The Boston Bruins for all intents and purposes are done with free-agency, but as a failsafe, they could sign two more forwards for camp.

One of which could be, Blake Wheeler a former Boston Bruin who is currently without a contract, after spending one season with the Rangers. He was a part of the Rangers' unsuccessful push to a cup after losing in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Florida Panthers.

He signed a one-year deal with the Rangers for $800K AAV and should he choose not to retire in 2024-2025, he could find a way onto the Bruins roster and give it one more go at a cup hunt.

In 54 games with the Rangers, Wheeler scored 21 points( 9 G, 12 A) for a 30+ point pace in 2023-2024.

The Bruins could also dip into the waters of Seattle, as one free-agent was there last. They could find Kailer Yamamoto, who wasn't offered a new contract with the Seattle Kraken.

Yamamoto spent 59 games with the Kraken, posting a disappointing 16 points( 8G, 8 A) under Dave Hakstol's leadership.

It's likely that he could use a fresh start with the Bruins, and wouldn't be a bad idea to offer him a PTO.
