Today marks a new page for the Boston Bruins as they enter a new month and look to get back on track. They will be doing this with three new players in their lineup.

Boston is entering today's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena and are on a five game losing streak.
The Bruins leadership believes that the team is still able to put some wins and points together, and still make a push to get to the playoffs.
On Friday, General Manager Don Sweeney made a couple roster transactions that will bring some youth into the lineup. Don Sweeney recalled Jeffrey Viel, Ian Mitchell, and Georgii Merkulov.
Jeffrey Viel is reportedly set to play for the Bruins today following his call-up from Providence, alongside Matt Poitras who left their previous game after taking an awkward hit along the boards.
Georgii Merkulov and Ian Mitchell on the other hand are projected to be healthy scratches today for the Bruins, but Joe Sacco may change this since the team had less than 24 hours to fly to Pittsburgh.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Penguins matchup is scheduled at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
Here are the projected lines and defensive pairings for Boston and Pittsburgh.
