Boston Bruins Asking Price Revealed: It's Ridiculous
Despite the Bruins' early playoff exit, forward Tyler Bertuzzi exceeded expectations after being acquired from the Red Wings.
Attention now turns to securing his contract before he becomes a free agent.
But there is one big issue..
His asking price for a new contract has been revealed, and he's seeking over $7 million per season. Despite injury setbacks, Bertuzzi contributed 16 points in 21 games.
His previous contract was $4.75 million AAV. While $7 million may be ambitious, he could command $6-$6.75 million as a free agent... or shall he take a cheaper deal to stay with the Bruins?
