The Boston Bruins faced a challenging outcome in the 2015 NHL Draft, where despite holding three consecutive picks in the first round, their acquisitions failed to yield significant results.

Jakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk, and Zachary Senyshyn were chosen with the 13th, 14th, and 15th picks, respectively.

Among the trio, only DeBrusk has succeeded in establishing a noteworthy professional career. Recently, the Bruins honored Zboril's request and placed him on waivers in the hopes that another NHL team would provide the opportunities that Boston did not.

The deadline for teams to claim Zboril on waivers passed at noon yesterday, and regrettably for him, no team saw fit to secure him a spot on their roster. Consequently, Zboril will continue with the Providence Bruins, where he has been playing throughout the season.

In parallel news on the waiver wire, the Winnipeg Jets have initiated the process with Dominic Toninato, placing him on waivers with the intention of assigning him to the AHL.
