Yesterday it was Patrice Bergeron's birthday and the Boston Bruins made a special announcement for him on this special day.
Fans took their time out of their day as well to wish him a happy birthday and also let him know that he is missed within the organization.
The Bruins had high hopes heading into the playoffs last year after having a historic year, they ultimately ended up being knocked out in the first-round to the Florida Panthers.
After the Bruins got upset from the Panthers there was a lot of speculation that Patrice Bergeron was going to call it a career.
The day after his birthday last year, Patrice Bergeron came out and officially announced his retirement from the Boston Bruins and the NHL.
