Boston Bruins head coach just issued an official report on Brad Marchand following his latest injury and it's not good for the Bruins.
The Boston Bruins are currently without their captain, and it looks like they are going to be missing him for sometime following a report from head coach Joe Sacco.
On Saturday, the Boston Bruins were taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins when Brad Marchand left the game early on with an upper-body injury.
It was later confirmed that Brad Marchand would not return to the game, and there was no further update on his status until today.
Today Joe Sacco released an official update on the status of Brad Marchand and it's not looking good.

It was also reported, and confirmed by multiple insiders that Brad Marchand will not return to the Bruins lineup until after the NHL trade deadline on Friday, meaning he is at least going to miss the Bruins next two games.

Already being down Trent Frederic, Charlie McAvoy, and Hampus Lindholm, this is a tough blow for the Boston Bruins.
Although they are set to be sellers at the NHL trade deadline, the Bruins still could make the playoffs as they are just two points out of a wildcard spot, but with the injuries continuing to pile up for them it does not look good.
