The Boston Bruins have officially traded gritty forward Trent Frederic to the Edmonton Oilers according to Elliotte Friedman.

Everyone knew a trade was coming with the Boston Bruins, it was just a matter of time, and now Don Sweeney has officially made a trade.
According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins have traded Trent Frederic to the Edmonton Oilers.
Friedman also reported that the New Jersey Devils are apart of this deal in some way.
Hearing Trent Frederic will be traded to Edmonton. Believe this is a three-way through New Jersey
NHL insider Frank Seravalli also reported that the Boston Bruins are trading Max Jones to the Edmonton Oilers as well.
#Oilers are acquiring forward Max Jones.
At this moment it's unclear what the return is for the Boston Bruins, or why the New Jersey Devils are apart of it.
Trent Frederic has been involved in a lot of trade rumours this season, and with him going down with an injury close to the NHL trade deadline, many weren't sure if the Bruins were going to move him.
Many believed that the injury was going to play a part in the Bruins keeping Frederic, but it turns out that was not the case.
