Boston Bruins recognize Jack Edwards before their game last night
Before their game against the Ottawa Senators, the Boston Bruins took a moment to recognize the end of an era.
Jack Edwards, a polarizing figure known for his passionate commentary, has been synonymous with the Bruins and NESN for almost two decades.
While beloved by Bruins fans for his bias, others view him with disdain. Despite his decline in recent seasons, Edwards has remained an iconic voice in hockey.

However, as his speech slowed down, it became evident that retirement was the right move. Though reluctant to step away, Edwards acknowledges that he can no longer deliver the game in the way he desires.
