Boston Bruins set to sign most hated player after recent move
The Boston Bruins could use some help down the middle, as of course, they're very thin on center depth.
While DailyFaceoff has Charlie Coyle slotting in behind newly acquired center, Elias Lindholm, there is a drop-off afterward.
That is why they could consider signing one of the most hated players in the NHL, a known "pest" Nick Cousins.
He's a former Stanley Cup champion, but even then hasn't benefitted from the championship win, unlike teammates like Brandon Montour, or Oliver Eakmann-Larsson who have found new homes.
In order to do so, he has since changed management from Octagon's Andy Scott to Newport's Craig Oster, as an Agent.
His production has dipped in 79 games, as he has only scored 27 points in that time period. But still played 12 playoff games with the Florida Panthers.
He has 180 points in 592 NHL games in a 10-year NHL career and could land a PTO elsewhere.
Which is why he'd be a no-risk signing for the Bruins on a PTO to see if he could last past training camp, as a depth center.
