Boston Bruins newest forward was just compared to Boston Bruins legend and fan favourite Patrice Bergeron.

The Boston Bruins signed some big names during free agent this off-season, their two biggest signings were Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm, both leaving the Vancouver Canucks to come to Bruins Nation.

A recent article revealed that Elias Lindholm will have some big shoes to fill coming over to the Boston Bruins, as he has been compared to Bruins legend Patrice Bergeron.

Lindholm, like Bergeron is a two-way center, and the Boston Bruins are hoping that he can essentially replace Patrice Bergeron, and the hole the Bruins have had since Patrice Bergeron has retired.

Great piece from @globejimmcbride on the Bruins' new first-line center: Elias Lindholm.

Elias Lindholm had a down year last year both offensively and defensively, and the Boston Bruins are hoping that he can bring back what he did during the 2021-22 season with the Calgary Flames where he had 42 goals, 40 assists, 82 points in 82 games and had a +/- of 61.

As seen on Bruinslatest:
Bruins have high hopes for Elias Lindholm
