Brad Marchand hinted that some big changes are coming for the Boston Bruins during their offseason this year.

The captain made a big impact for the Bruins in the playoffs, he scored some clutch goals for the team, and was solid on the penalty kill.

Marchand ended up playing in 11 out of 13 games during the playoffs for the Boston Bruins as he suffered a injury in round 2 against the Florida Panthers. Despite that he still managed to almost be a point per game, with 3 goals, 7 assists, 10 points in 11 games.

Ultimately the Bruins didn't have what it took to defeat the Panthers and were kicked out in 6 games. During Marchand's exit interviews he hinted that there are some big changes on the horizon for the Bruins in the offseason.

Brad Marchand on positive takeaways from this season: "There is a lot that we can take away and be happy about and look forward to improve upon next year...with the new outlook of our group and the new core, you can look at next year and be excited and look to improve upon that."

The Boston Bruins have a lot of free agents and some restricted free agents, July 1st is when free agency begins and Don Sweeney will have his plate full of hard decisions to make.
