During the exit interviews today for the Boston Bruins, defensemen Matt Grzelcyk has revealed that he's been dealing with multiple major injuries.

Grzelcyk got a lot of hate for his play during the regular season, with many fans demanding for the Bruins to trade him, but he has recently revealed what the cause of his subpar play could have been from.

The Boston Bruins only dressed up Matt Grzelcyk for 3 games in the playoffs, and he was only put in when the Bruins needed him due to injuries.

Grzelcyk revealed that he played through the season with a separated shoulder and a torn oblique.

Matt Grzelcyk played through a separated shoulder and now a torn oblique tough player, kept his head down, never complained and got harped on because his driver's license says 5'9» and not 6'0». He's logged very tough minutes here and hope he gets a chance elsewhere. #NHLBruins

The Bruins have a decision to make with Matt Grzelcyk being a free agent, a lot of signs point to the Bruins letting Grzelcyk walk in free agency, but one thing is for sure, Don Sweeney will have a very busy offseason.
