Bruins fans make �racial' comments following recent announcement
Today is June 19th, 2024 now considered a Federal Holiday in the United States, Juneteenth. A celebration of freedom:
June 19 marks the third consecutive year of Juneteenth as a federally recognized United States holiday. Also known as Freedom Day, Emancipation Day or America's second Independence Day, Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. after the Civil War.
So, many teams make a message of support for the newly formed Holiday in support of the ending of slavery.
Surely, this harmless holiday which celebrates the ending of a barbaric, brutal, and deadly practice of slavery would be celebrated by Bruins fans?
Apparently, not as many fans, Bruins and NHL alike have shown their true colors as they make irrational comments about a Holiday that doesn't harm them in anyway whatsoever.
But comment they will, as the Bruins mark the occasion, Bruins fans are seething in the replies:
