Boston Bruins Jeremy Swayman just made his bid for save of the year in the dying seconds of the second period against the Utah Hockey Club.

During the dying seconds of the second period Jeremy Swayman came up clutch for the Bruins, and in doing so has made a bid for save of the year. With 49 seconds left in the second period, Hampus Lindholm took a tripping penalty, and Brad Marchand did not like it and gave the ref an earful regarding the call.

Right off the faceoff after the call was made, Utah got a cycle going, and Dylan Guenther would end up taking a one-timer. Jeremy Swayman made the initial save on Guenther but the puck ended up bouncing up and behind Swayman.

Swayman would reach back and cover the puck with his glove before the puck could cross over the goal line.

Guenther celebrated like he scored, and looked shocked when he realized that he was robbed by the Bruins goaltender.

Jeremy Swayman has played a solid game for the Boston Bruins so far tonight after not looking the greatest in some of his other starts, but tonight he has made some big timely saves for the Boston Bruins to keep them in this game.

The Boston Bruins are currently winning 1-0 against Utah mid-way through the third period.

Who else was going to score for the Boston Bruins other then someone off of the Bruins fourth line, Cole Koekpe which was assisted by the captain Brad Marchand.
