The Boston Bruins have been blessed in the goaltending department recently as they have had the goalie tandem of Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark. Their affiliate the Providence Bruins have also had solid goaltending with the duo of Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro who have had some solid season for the P Bruins.
Reid Dyck has been trending the right way as he is a top goalie in the Western Hockey League for the Swift Current Broncos.
Linus Ullmark seems to be on his way out, meaning the Bruins might call up Brandon Bussi and let him be the backup to Jeremy Swayman. Although both Bussi and DiPietro both are restricted free agents looking for new deals.
The Boston Bruins have been good at developing their goaltenders, and Dyck is trending towards the right way, but might walk from the organization as he is also due for a new contract which would be his entry-level deal, and if the Bruins can't come to one by June 1st he could walk away from the organization.
The Boston Bruins have a couple of days to try and get a deal done or they could be losing a good goalie prospect for nothing.
