The Boston Bruins added a player to their roster the other day, in Oliver Wahlstrom, but they didn't have to give up anything due to claiming him off of waivers from the New York Islanders.

Wahlstrom was the 11th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
The new Boston Bruins forward made headlines when he was just nine years old by scoring a ridiculous shootout goal at TD Garden.

Now Wahlstrom will likely be dressing up for the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night and making his debut with the team when they face off against the Calgary Flames.
When with the New York Islanders, Wahlstrom wore number 26, but he has now changed it and will wear former Boston Bruins fan favourite Taylor Hall's jersey number, 71.
The 24-year-old forward has struggled the past couple of years with the New York Islanders, but is a very talented player, and a change of scenery might have been needed for him.
