Canadian Fans Disrespect Multiple Boston Bruins Players During Team USA's First Game At The Four Nations
Thursday night saw Team USA and Team Finland faceoff against each other in their first games at the Four Nations Face-off in Montreal, and the fans once again disrespected multiple Boston Bruins players and the entire American team.
Things got interesting early on before the game started between Finland, and USA as fans made their feelings known towards the United States players. Fans made them feel unwelcome by booing their National anthem.
Sadly, this isn't the first time it has happened, as fans have been booing the American National anthem recently due to political issues that are ongoing between the Americans and Canadians.
Before the National anthems took place, the PA announcer asked for everyone to respect the National anthems, but fans did not listen and still booed the American National anthem.
It went quiet for a moment and some dude yelled "F**k that!" and the rink proceeded to boo the American anthem.
When the "Star Spangled Anthem" began, Canadian fans booed loud and it could clearly be heard throughout the building.
There is no class to this from Canadian fans, these players are going there to represent their countries and play no part in the political side of things.
Two Boston Bruins players were disrespected including Jeremy Swayman, and Charlie McAvoy as they both represent their country, in the United States of America.
Soon, the games will turn to the States when Boston hosts the rest of the tournament at TD Garden, and it will be interesting to see how American fans respond when this does happen.
