Recently, the American National anthem has been a controversial topic in Canada. Just before the Four Nations Face-off began, multiple Canadian teams were trending for their fans booing the American National anthem.
Multiple NHL players have come out and spoke on the topic, and now it seems like Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand has had enough as he has finally spoken on the matter as well.
In Team USA's first game, Canadian fans once again booed the American National anthem, when preparing to faceoff against Finland, this sparked Matthew Tkachuk to speak out about it and he was not happy.

Marchand spoke out on the matter after the American's were booed in their first game, and make it clear that he does not agree with what the Canadian fans are doing.
Marchand stated that fans should not be booing the American anthem, the players have nothing to do with the political things that are going on, and that he feels bad for the players.
After Saturday's games, the Four Nations will go over to Boston at TD Garden, and it will be interesting to see how the American fans react to the Canadian National anthem.
