Concern grows as fan who threatened Jake Debrusk resurfaces
News broke yesterday that former Bruins forward Jake Debrusk has received word that a stalker who followed him in Boston intends to follow him in Vancouver.
According to reports, the stalker named Jan went to x.com and stated that she will follow Jake Debrusk to Vancouver when the new season begins. Previously, she had been banned from TD Garden as she brought threats to Debrusk and his girlfriend Mia.
It's only been a few weeks since he signed his new deal with the Canucks that had a seven-year term and was worth $38.5 million. His cap hit holds at $5.7 million AAV and will give good value to the Canucks.
It's expected that the Vancouver Canucks will take this threat seriously and will certainly keep a watchful eye for Debrusk and his family and likely ban her from the arena. This is certainly not how Debrusk hoped his summer would begin and we all hope that there is no threat that will transpire towards them.
